Every year on 18th November, the world celebrates COPD Day; a day in which people come together to offer and share advice, support, and information about Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. It also gives people the opportunity to share their experiences of living with the condition.
What is COPD?
“Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or COPD, describes a group of lung conditions that make it difficult to empty air out of the lungs because the airways have become narrowed.” – The British Lung Foundation.
