Alhambra Theatre

Overview

The Alhambra Theatre is regarded as the North's premier touring venue and hosts the best in large scale entertainment from ballet and opera to variety and comedy, musicals, drama and Yorkshire's biggest panto. The venue seats 1,400 people and is a popular choice for major touring companies including Northern Ballet, Disney, the National Theatre, Matthew Bourne's New Adventures and David Ian Productions (Chicago, Grease, The Sound of Music). It has staged major West End shows including The Lion King and War Horse. It is a member of The Dance Consortium, a group of theatres who work together to bring the best in international dance to the UK.

Access Card notes

Bradford Theatres' Access & Carer Membership Scheme recognises that some customers need additional assistance to access the services within our venues, which include the Alhambra Theatre, St George's Hall, The Studio and King's Hall, Ilkley. If you qualify under the Scheme you will receive a reduction on the cost of your visit for your carer. In some circumstances you may also receive a reduction to your ticket price. Groups and organisations of disabled people, or organisations supporting disabled people, can also obtain a reduction in ticket price through the Scheme. To join the Scheme applicants will be required to provide evidence of eligibility. The Access Card is listed as on of the accepted evidence options. Just fill out and return their application form.
