Overview

Comedy Central UK will bring this brand new three-day stand-up and experiential festival to the centre of Southampton. Taking place in Hoglands Park on 5, 6 and 7 October, Comedy Central Live will see Jimmy Carr, Russell Howard and Katherine Ryan headline across the weekend. Visitors to the festival will also be able to watch live versions of the hit Comedy Central shows Roast Battle, Your Face or Mine and Drunk History and take on the ultimate Takeshi’s Castle inflatable obstacle course (one of the biggest in the world). The festival line-up is packed full of the biggest names in comedy, with Rob Delaney, Rob Beckett, Desiree Burch, Chris Ramsey, Joel Dommett, Nish Kumar, Iain Stirling, Luisa Omielan, Russell Kane, Dane Baptiste, Mo Gilligan, Phil Wang, Suzi Ruffell, Reginald D Hunter, Doc Brown and winner of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent ‘Lost Voice Guy’ (plus many more) all set to perform across the 3-day event. The Comedy Central-themed experiential area will include iconic comedy attractions from South Park and Joel and Nish Vs The World. Visitors will also be able to watch some of their favourite comedians belt out classic musical hits in live stage show ‘A Musical’. Drag Super Group ‘Denim’ will host an alternative all-day party at the festival.

Customers requiring assistance throughout the festival are entitled to one free pass for their Personal Assistant. Please note that the individual requiring assistance must have a ticket. The festival will open at 12.00pm and close at 11pm. Accessibility customers may use the VIP queue lanes when entering the festival.

Wheelchair Access

All customers who receive a 2 for 1 Personal Assistant Pass are allowed to access the Viewing Platform along with their Personal Assistant, subject to availability.

If you do not require a Personal Assistant pass but feel you will need to access the Viewing Platform, please email accessibility@themanuallondon.com.

The Comedy Central Stage (Main Stage) viewing area is located at the front of the main stage tent Comedy Central (Block A) to the left (when facing the stage), and can be accessed by Entrance A.

CCTV viewing platform is located at the rear of the CCTV stage and has a capacity of 16 (8 wheelchairs users + carers).

Comedy Central Extra viewing platform is located rear of the tent stage and has a capacity of 16 (8 wheelchairs users + carers).

Access To Toilets

2 x Accessible toilets are located in the north toilet area, 2 x in the east, 1 x in VIP. All accessible toilets will be strictly for the sole use of accessibility customers.

Assistance Dogs

If you would like to bring an Assistance Dog to the festival, please contact us directly first. We will request evidence in order for you to do so (this will usually be either be the Dogs’ ID book or evidence of the dog’s training as an Assistance Dog from an ADUK certified organisation).
