Crucible Corner

Overview

Located on Tudor Square, in the heart of Sheffield City Centre, both the Crucible and Lyceum are easily accessible for all. There are level entrances to the main foyers and lift access to each floor. There are also spaces in each auditorium for wheelchair users, which can be booked by calling the Box Office (not currently available online), as well as a number of seats which benefit from level access. For customers with limited mobility, our Box Office team can advise on the best areas to sit, including whether there are any steps to navigate. Accessible toilets are located in both buildings (with baby change facilities available in both the men's, women's and disabled toilets). The main Box Office, located in the Crucible, features a lower counter and is fitted with a hearing loop. Across our season of productions, we offer a wide range of accessible performances to ensure an enjoyable experience for all customers. On most productions, we offer Audio Described, Sign Language Interpreted and Captioned Performances and additionally, we often offer Touch Tours of the set preceding the performances for Visually Impaired customers. We've highlighted the performances on which these facilities are available on the book tickets listing for each show. We recommend that when booking to use our access facilities you speak to a member of our Box Office team who can ensure that any relevant equipment is reserved for you and that you are in the best position in the auditorium.
