Manual wheelchairs and electric scooters are available to hire from the main entrance, please call 01384 215313 to reserve. For manual wheelchairs, a £10 refundable deposit is required. Electric scooters cost £12 per day, with a £20 refundable deposit. 2 forms of identification are required.

The nature of our historic site means that in parts the paths are steep, and, in some areas, there are steps.

Free disabled parking is available on our main car park (Sat Nav DY1 4SQ) and drop off points are located opposite the main visitor entrance.

There is a land train that departs from outside the turnstiles and runs up to the castle courtyard, then returns to the turnstiles. Portable wheelchairs can be stored in the luggage compartment at the rear of the train. If you require this service, please call 01384 215313 for availability.
