Fake Festivals - Ashby De La Zouch
Overview
"A Fake Festival is a fabulous opportunity for families and local communities to enjoy a fun packed music day out together at their local playing field, village green, sports field or college campus. It's a chance to meet up with friends and to listen to some great live bands. Each Festival makes a mark on the local community and quickly becomes an annual event to look forward to."

Access guidance
- We usually find that wheelchair users like to watch the performances from the inside sides of the marquee where there is usually a bit of room away from the audience. If the ground is wet then it may be difficult for wheelchair users as we don't use flooring at any of the festivals.
- Is there disabled parking? Depends on the site, all Fake Festivals are different. If someone is able to come to the festival entrance and ask security if you can be allowed to drive up to the marquee we are usually able to help. However, the appropriate blue badge would have to be in the car and in view.
- There will be accessible toilets at the festival.
- Assistance Dogs are welcome at the festival.

- If you or your child have special dietary requirements, allergies or food intolerances that you are willing to prove, bring your documentation (such as a doctors or consultants letter) with you to show security when you enter the festival for the first time, as you may be allowed through with your own food (within reason - no banquets please!).
