Overview
"Hever Castle is located in the village of Hever, Kent, near Edenbridge, 30 miles south-east of London, England. It began as a country house, built in the 13th century. From 1462 to 1539, it was the seat of the Boleyn family."

Access guidance
- 6 wheelchairs are available for a refundable deposit of £25 at the Hever Shop. It is advisable to book these prior to a visit. Please contact the Estate Office Mon - Fri (9am-5pm) by calling 01732 865224 or emailing info@hevercastle.co.uk. For your own safety, we advise wheelchair and mobility scooters keep to the hard surfaced and shingle paths.
- Cars and minibuses are able to park in a designated area near to the Moat Restaurant. Please ask on arrival. For coach groups we operate a golf buggy service which runs from Top Gate to the Moat Restaurant when required.
- Assistance dogs are admitted into all facilities including the Castle.
- To help our disabled visitors have a memorable experience, we admit their carer free of charge on production of a benefit Award Letter from the Department for Work and Pensions (e.g. for Disability Living Allowance, Attendance Allowance or Incapacity Benefit) or a Blue Badge.
