Seating is available in the Textile gallery and in the Gin Yard, as well as in the courtyard outside the museum.

Wheelchair Access

Wheelchair access
There is disabled access with some limitations. Both the textile and transport galleries are readily accessible and visitors can request access to the communications gallery via the courtyard. The Gin Yard and Steam Hall can be accessed by wheelchair over some uneven ground.

Floor surfaces are concrete inside and uneven surfaces in the Gin Yard.

The nearest car park to the Nottingham Industrial Museum is at the end of the drive. From the entrance follow the road past the first car park and children’s play area, turn left onto the tree-lined drive and come up to the second car park on your right.

Access To Toilets

Access To Toilets
Toilets are available opposite the museum and Wollaton Hall has a ‘Changing Places’ toilet with a height adjustable changing bench.
