Access Card notes
"Guests with health conditions or impairments may be entitled to a free of charge carer's ticket upon proof of eligibility. We are now accepting Access Card as proof of eligibility provided guests have the Essential Companions symbol. A maximum of one free of charge carer will be admitted per eligible guest. Oakwood Theme Park runs a Ride Access Pass scheme. Ride Access Pass is available to guests who may find it difficult, or cannot stand for long periods of time, either because of physical disability or learning/emotional impairment. We are now accepting Access Card as proof of eligibility for guests."
Access guidance
- The majority of the park is accessible via tarmac or concrete pathways. Please note that due to the nature of our site, there are some steep inclines. Oakwood Theme Park runs a Ride Access Pass scheme. Ride Access Pass is available to guests who may find it difficult, or cannot stand for long periods of time, either because of physical disability or learning/emotional impairment. (Please note this scheme is available for the guests with other symbols also.)
- We advise guests who require a wheelchair to travel around the park to bring their own wheelchair for ease and certainty. Please note that due to the nature of our site, there are some steep inclines which may not be suitable for powered wheelchairs or buggies. We have a limited number of wheelchairs available to hire from the Admissions area upon entry to the park. These are available on a first come, first served basis. Please speak with the Admissions team upon arrival at the park, who will be able to advise on the availability and hire fee.
- We've got plenty of disabled parking spaces located near the park entrance. All our parking is free.
- Toilets facilities are available across the park. This includes accessible toilets for guests with wheelchairs, disabilities or additional needs. Access to these toilets is by means of RADAR key. If you do not have one, please visit the Park Reception.
- Assistance/Guide Dogs are welcome in to Oakwood Theme Park, but they will not be able to accompany guests onto any of the rides or attractions. They will be allowed as far as the ride loading point, where they must be left with a member of the party. Dogs must never be left unattended anywhere in the park.
