Standing and Queueing
Dedicated lanes are available for disabled people to use to avoid the main queues. Toilet facilities within the area of viewing platforms mean shorter queues for toilets and seating is available for disabled customers on the viewing platforms
The Big Weekend is a greenfield site and as such customers need to prepare for this. Pedestrian routes have terrain which will include gravel or grassed areas. Accessible toilets and viewing platforms are available.
As this is a greenfield site there are some longer distances involved. We have provided the shortest distances possible from parking to viewing platforms
Access To Toilets
Customers who need urgent toilet access will be given a wristband which will enable them to use toilet facilities within the disabled persons viewing area which has considerably shorter queues.
Given the nature of the event and the large crowds we advise against bringing assistance dogs and recommend people use the free essential companion scheme to meet their needs
Free essential companion tickets are available for those that need them. A registration form must be completed and returned along with your Access Card number or other supporting documents
Accessing Visual Information
There are many stewards on hand throughout the festival site who are happy to provide assistance where needed.
