Overview
At RCS there is something for everyone! Based in the heart of Glasgow's vibrant city centre, we have 5 performance spaces, hosting over 500 public events a year, across Classical Music, Drama, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Traditional Music and Ballet. Performance is the Conservatoire environment! We are delighted to provide a range of performances across daytime, evenings and weekends, with productions to suit all tastes and budgets.

RCS are proud of our commitment to diversity, inclusivity and widening access, and we value and respect the identity of each individual. We aim to consistently be a welcoming and inclusive environment. Dedicated wheelchair spaces are provided in all venues. See the seating plans for positions. There is level access from the ground floor of the Royal Conservatoire at the main entrance on Renfrew Street to all levels. Accessible lift serves all floors. We are happy to offer a complimentary ticket to any customers who require a personal assistant in order to access the venue. We welcome guide dogs and hearing dogs. The lift to all floors has a voice announcement. BSL users can get a ticket to interpreted or captioned performances at a discounted price of £5.00. Just select the 'BSL User' discount when booking online, or by phone.
Access guidance
- We have a large reception and cafe area where customers are welcome to take a seat while waiting for the venue to open. Please speak to a member of staff if we can offer any assistance getting you to your seat, or service from the cafe.

Box Office: Low access sales point available. Accessible via lift. Cafe Bar: Medium height service points. Accessible via lift. Stair free access is available in all venues:
- All venues have stair free access. We can provide you with a wheelchair to use while in the venue.
- Please speak to a member of staff or show them your access card if you need urgent access to a toilet. Accessible unisex toilets with emergency call buttons are available on the ground and first floors at Renfrew Street.
- We welcome guide dogs and hearing dogs. The lift to all floors has a voice announcement. A water bowl can be provided. We can also hold a seat next to you so there is space for your dog.
- We are happy to offer a complimentary ticket to any customers who require a personal assistant in order to access the venue.
